Au laboratoire SAINBIOSE-LBTO, Saint-Etienne, France, nous recherchons un.e doctorant.e pour travailler sur un projet combinant physiologie, analyse d’images et statistiques pour étudier comment les os et le système cardio-vasculaire s’adaptent à la microgravité à partir d’octobre 2024 : « Space physiology: exploring bone and cardiovascular adaptations in real and simulated microgravity through longitudinal 3D CT imaging correlated with blood biomarkers and cardiovascular phenotypes”.
Le projet est hautement interdisciplinaire et peut intéresser les étudiants ayant une formation en sciences biomédicales ou bien en informatique/ingénierie, avec un fort intérêt pour la physiologie, l’analyse d’images et les statistiques. Une formation et de l’expérience sur certains de ces sujets ainsi qu’une volonté d’apprendre les autres sont nécessaires.

At the SAINBIOSE-LBTO laboratory, saint-Etienne, France, we are looking for a PhD student to work on a project combining physiology, image analysis and statistics to study how bones and the cardio-vascular system adapt to microgravity starting from October 2024: « Space physiology: exploring bone and cardiovascular adaptations in real and simulated microgravity through longitudinal 3D CT imaging correlated with blood biomarkers and cardiovascular phenotypes”.
The project is highly interdisciplinary and it can be of interest to students with backgrounds in biomedical sciences or computer science/engineering, with a strong interest in physiology, image analysis and statistics. Training and experience with some of these topics and willingness to learn the others are needed.
